Stunt driving charges laid against two drivers on Hwy. 401 in CK

Two drivers have been charged with stunt driving on Hwy. 401 through Chatham-Kent.

The Ontario Provincial Police alleged an 18-year-old from Kingsville was driving 159 km/hr in a posted 100 km/hr zone on the westbound 401 on Sunday afternoon.

Then on Sunday evening, a 34-year-old from London was charged with stunt driving on the eastbound 401, allegedly doing 156 km/hr in a posted 100 km/hr zone.

Police said both vehicles were impounded for 14 days and their driver's licences were suspended for 30 days.
