A Chatham man is facing a drug trafficking charge after being caught driving while suspended.
Chatham-Kent (CK) police arrested the man on Saturday after catching him driving in an unfit vehicle with the wrong plates.
The police caught him after getting an alert from the Automatic Licence Plate Recognition system.
During a search, officers found 44 grams of suspected cocaine.
The man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, failing to comply with an undertaking, and several driving-related offenses.
He remains in police custody, awaiting a bail hearing.
