Chatham-Kent (CK) businesses are being encouraged to take part in an upcoming information session on the federal government's new "Buy Canadian" policy.
It will be held in Oldcastle on May 21 by Senator Sandra Pupatello, in partnership with multiple Chambers of Commerce across southwestern Ontario.
The session is expected to share details on the federal government's procurement strategy, specifically how it's prioritizing Canadian suppliers, Canadian-made materials, and domestic production.
CK businesses interested in attending must RSVP by Friday. They can do so by contacting Pupatello via email at Sandra.Pupatello@sen.parl.gc.ca.
It'll go from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ciociaro Club.
