The St. Clair Catholic District School Board (SCCDSB) has approved thousands of dollars worth of work to be done at St. Anne Catholic School.
It's part of a more than $1.5 million announcement made by the school board on Thursday.
St. Anne will receive an estimated $373,844 for asphalt and yard improvements, through SCCDSB's capital renewal strategy. More than $1.2 million has been allocated to St. Matthew Catholic School in Sarnia for a partial roof replacement.
The funding comes from $6.8 million provided to the school board by the Ministry of Education for 2025-2026.
Investments for additional capital projects will be considered at the Board of Trustee's Regular Board Meeting in May. According to the SCCDSB, the funding is meant to go to projects that will modernize schools and make them safe and inclusive for all students.
