Chatham man caught with fentanyl and crack cocaine

A Chatham man is facing multiple drug charges after being caught driving while suspended.

He was spotted driving on Park Street on Friday afternoon.

During a search, officers found suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine.

Police say the man also had a prohibited weapon, but didn't say what the weapon was.

He faces several charges, including possession of fentanyl and crack cocaine, driving while under suspension, and failing to comply with a probation order.

The man has since been released from custody with a future court date.
