A fatal fire on King Street East in Chatham is under investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) is warning of an increased police presence in the area after a person was found deceased following the fire.
No word on when the fire happened, the cause, or the victim has been released.
The Ontario Fire Marshall's office has been called in to help with the investigation.
Police say there are no concerns for public safety, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact CKPS.
