Stolen Vehicle

A Chatham-Kent woman barely had the motor warmed up before she was allegedly caught with a stolen vehicle.

Chatham-Kent police say a 32-year-old female from Chatham-Kent stole a vehicle from a business on Base Line Road in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, then was stopped two minutes later and arrested.

Police also alleged that the accused was driving while her licence was suspended.

The accused has been charged with vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, theft, and driving while under suspension.

Death Threats

A family argument has resulted in a man from Chatham being charged with uttering death threats.

Chatham-Kent police alleged the 44-year-old man got into an argument with family members on Wednesday morning while driving, became agitated, and made multiple threats towards them.

Police also alleged the accused engaged in erratic driving behaviour.

The man was charged with four counts of uttering death threats.
