Sarnia police make more arrests in Lambton College murder

Sarnia police have arrested two more people while searching for the murder weapon used at a Lambton College shooting.

At roughly 7 a.m. Sunday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Indian Road in Sarnia.

A woman, who had allegedly been with the suspects on the night of the shooting, was arrested.

Officers then responded to a hotel on Venetian Blvd. in Point Edward.

The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) searched a unit in the hotel, seizing a firearm that it believes was used in the murder of Dane Nisbet.

The weapon is under expert forensic examination currently, but investigators believe the firearm was sourced in the United States.
