Golf cart enthusiasts in Erieau can now apply for permits

Golf cart permits are now available for Erieau.

The permit is valid from April 1 to November 30, allowing the operation of permitted golf carts on designated roads within Erieau.

Those interested can pay the $75 permit fee over the phone by calling 311 or at any municipal office. The Golf Cart Registration application can be completed after the payment is received. Click here to apply.

The municipality said licensing staff will review applications and documents. If all requirements are met, the application will be approved, and successful applicants will be contacted to sign a waiver and pick up their validation sticker.

Appointments can be made at cklicensing@chatham-kent.ca or 519-360-1998.

A driver's licence is required at the appointment for confirmation.

Chatham-Kent Council approved the Golf Cart Pilot Program in Erieau on August 11, 2025, and extended the program in February.
