Chatham woman charged with trafficking after $16K drug bust

A drug bust has resulted in trafficking charges against a Chatham woman.

Chatham-Kent police reported officers seized an estimated $16,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine from a home on Northland Drive in Chatham on Tuesday afternoon. They arrested a 32-year-old woman from Chatham.

Police said they confiscated 77.5 grams of fentanyl, 26 grams of cocaine, four grams of methamphetamine, cell phones, packaging material, digital scales, and Canadian cash.

The female suspect faces three counts of possession of illicit drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
