OPP looking for suspect in string of ONroute thefts

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect after two thefts at the Highway 401 ONroutes between Chatham-Kent (CK) and London.

According to police, the same suspect was seen at both the eastbound and westbound ONroutes in Dutton Dunwich on February 26.

The suspect was reportedly first seen loading up a pick-up truck with stolen property at the westbound location before going to the eastbound service centre just 45 minutes later.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Elgin County OPP.
