An investigation by Chatham-Kent (CK) police has led to multiple weapon and drug charges against a senior from Dresden.
Police reported they arrested and charged the 70-year-old man following the search of a home on Holden Street in Dresden on Wednesday.
Officers seized a crossbow, ammunition, a collapsible baton, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other items.
"At approximately 6:07 a.m., officers arrived at the residence and called the occupant out of the home without incident," said police.
The suspect faces two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to a court order and two counts of possession of illicit drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
