Foggy conditions across Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent on Wednesday morning kept school buses off the roads.
Buses in all zones, 1 through 8, were cancelled because of foggy conditions, but will be running in the afternoon.
A fog advisory is in effect for the region.
Environment Canada said near-zero visibility is expected, and travel will likely be hazardous in some locations.
Motorists are reminded to turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance between your vehicle and others.
Fog is expected to dissipate late Wednesday morning.
