Weapons and Assault Charges
Two people from Chatham are facing several charges following a violent fight in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent (CK ) police alleged an 18-year-old female was assaulted by two people multiple times when she went to a home on Indian Creek Road West in Chatham on Thursday night.
She was also threatened and her personal items were taken, police alleged.
The teen victim left the home, but required medical attention, according to police.
A 40-year-old man was charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, assault causing bodily harm by choking, suffocating and strangling, and assault.
A 40-year-old woman was charged with assault and violent robbery.

Warrant Arrest
Chatham-Kent (CK) police have caught up with a man accused of stealing a bicycle, bank cards, and personal documents in Wallaceburg in August and arrested him on Thursday.
Police alleged the victim’s credit card was later used at a business on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
The 38-year-old male suspect from Chatham-Kent was arrested on Fork Street in Wallaceburg on Thursday just after midnight.
He was charged with unauthorized use of a credit card, and possession of property obtained by crime.
