A Chatham man is facing assault and resisting arrest charges after a fight in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent (CK) police alleged the 41-year-old man got into a fight with a 34-year-old Chatham woman on Wednesday on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Police also alleged the suspect resisted arrest and assaulted an officer during the arrest.

Impaired Charges
Impaired driving charges have been laid against a 68-year-old man from Chatham after allegations that he nearly hit a pedestrian with his pickup truck in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent (CK) police alleged the suspect was driving on McNaughton Avenue near Bear Line Road in Chatham on Wednesday evening and was unable to stay in his lane, according to witnesses.
Police alleged the vehicle struck curbs and drove on sidewalks, narrowly missing a pedestrian.
He was later arrested on St. Clair Street in Chatham after a field sobriety test and charged with operation of a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs and operation of a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

Break-and-Enter Charge
Chatham-Kent (CK) police have charged a London man, alleging that he broke into a house in Chatham intending to commit a crime.
Police allege the 57-year-old suspect entered the home on Burk Line in Chatham through an unlocked patio door on Saturday, was confronted inside the residence, and left afterward in a vehicle.
He was arrested on Elm Street in Bothwell on Wednesday after the suspect vehicle was identified in Thamesville.
The accused was charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit an offence.

Mooning Restaurant Patrons Leads to Arrest
A Chatham-Kent (CK) man accused of mooning patrons at a restaurant in Chatham in May has finally been arrested and charged.
CK police said the 30-year-old suspect was arrested on King Street West in Chatham at around 4 a.m. on Thursday and charged with mischief and indecent exhibition.
It's alleged the accused struck and damaged an exterior light fixture near the entrance of a restaurant on Third Street in Chatham eight months ago and "exposed his buttocks" to patrons inside the eatery.
