CK man charged with impaired driving after crash

A 25-year-old man has been charged after being involved in a single-vehicle collision.

Just minutes before the New Year, Chatham-Kent (CK) police were called to Pain Court Line in Pain Court for a potential crash.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle stuck in a ditch.

The uninjured driver was still in the vehicle, with officers believing he showed signs of impairment. He was brought back to the CK Police Headquarters, where he provided a breath sample, which police say he failed.

He was subsequently charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

He's since been released from police custody with a future court date.
