Mischief Charge

A Chatham woman has been charged with mischief after police alleged that she damaged a vehicle with a shovel.

Chatham-Kent police claim the 40-year-old woman struck the vehicle with a shovel on Monday morning at an address on Princess Street North in Chatham.

Police allege the woman had a shovel in her possession when officers arrived and she was arrested following a brief foot chase.

Warrant Arrest

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a suspect wanted by Windsor police.

Police reported the 41-year-old man from Sarnia was arrested on Monday morning during a traffic stop on Queen Street and Patteson Avenue in Chatham.

The suspect was wanted in Windsor on an outstanding warrant for theft of a vehicle, mischief, possession of property obtained by crime, having forged documents, and failing to comply with a probation order.
