Popular yogurt drinks recalled due to potential presence of plastic

The maker of YOP yogurt drinks has pulled multiple flavours from the shelves due to the possible presence of plastic.

Yoplait Canada said that the affected products are 200 millilitre bottles of a variety of flavours, including blueberry, strawberry, peach, and vanilla, all with best-before dates in January 2026.

A detailed list of the contaminated products can be found here.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the issue.

Anyone who may have purchased some of the affected drinks is urged to throw them away or take them back to the store for a refund.

An investigation is underway by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), which could lead to the recall of more products.
