Thousands of people are expected to visit Christmasland at the Glasshouse Nursery and Garden Centre Saturday.
A free fireworks display at 56 Creek Road in Chatham is scheduled for 6 p.m.
There are several activities starting in the afternoon, including five food trucks, a marshmallow roast and free hot chocolate for the kids, plus live music from Bren at 4:30 p.m.
Volunteers from Outreach from Hunger will also be there, and everyone who makes a donation to the Chatham food bank will be given a 10 per cent discount on their next purchase in Christmasland.
That includes donations of non-perishable food items. Outreach is in need of coffee, canned fruit, oatmeal, brown sugar, pancake mix, rice, rice mixes, and salt and pepper.
Creek Road will be closed at Park Avenue and Indian Creek Road at 5:30 p.m. or when the parking lots are full. In 2024, around 7,000 people came out to enjoy the fireworks.
Chatham-Kent mayor Darrin Canniff is expected to attend to start the fireworks show as the Glasshouse is celebrating 50 years in business in 2025.
