Break and Enter Suspect

Chatham-Kent (CK) police have arrested a man wanted on charges related to a break-in at a Chatham business earlier this year.

On May 12, police were called to Riverview Drive for an apparent theft.

It's alleged that a man had entered the building through an insecure roof access door and stole several items.

Police identified the man through video surveillance and issued an arrest warrant.

The man was arrested on Wednesday, roughly six months after the robbery, and charged with breaking and entering to commit theft.

Uttering Threats

A 45-year-old man has been charged for allegedly threatening to hurt multiple people.

At around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to a home on Richmond Street in Chatham.

Officers were met by a 29-year-old woman who claimed that she was confronted by a man at her home who threatened to harm her and other people.

The man was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
