This year's holiday parades will start in Chatham and Santa will make his way around the municipality before the big day.
Friday, November 14
The Annual Chatham Santa Claus Parade will begin at 6 p.m.
It will start on Sandy Street, but because of construction on King Street, the parade will go down Wellington St. and Third St. before making its way to King St. down to the Wish Centre.
The theme this year is "Whispers of Winter Wonderland."
Southern Cruisers Riding Club Chatham-Kent 312 will be collecting toys and non-perishable goods along the parade route on behalf of the Chatham Goodfellows.
After the parade, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be at the WISH Centre for pictures, plus there will be hot chocolate and free pizza from OG Pizza.
Saturday, November 15
In Wallaceburg, the Knights of Pythias will host the 55th annual Christmas Parade.
It gets underway at 6 p.m. at Arnold and Dufferin Streets, and the parade will make its way down James St. and Nelson St.
Float registration will be held at the intersection of Garnet and Arnold.
The theme this year is "Christmas Around the World."
Friday, November 28
Tilbury's Santa Claus Parade will start at 7 p.m.
The theme this year is "Candy Cane Lane."
Staging will start at 6 p.m. and the parade will start from the Fire Hall and head south on Queen St. to Memorial Park.
The Tilbury Lions Christmas Light Festival Opening Night will take place at the park after the parade.
Friday, December 5
The Blenheim Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade will make his way through town at 7 p.m.
The theme is "To be Canadian is..." Check in will start at 5:30, and every float must have Christmas lights.
The parade will start at Snow Ave. and end at Talbot Trail Place on John St.
Following the parade, everyone is welcome to attend the annual launch ceremony for the Blenheim Festival of Lights at Talbot Trail Place.
No word on a parade in Bothwell, but the town is hosting several events, including Christmas in the Square from 6-8:30 p.m. with sleigh rides, a tree lighting, and local vendors.
Saturday, December 6
In Wheatley, the Santa Claus Parade is put on by the Fish Fest Committee
It will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Wheatley Arena, and head south to Middleton Line.
Saturday, December 13
The 76th annual Ridgetown Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade will start at 1 p.m.
It begins near the high school and will process along Main St. through downtown Ridgetown.
In Dresden, the Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade will take place the same day at 6 p.m.
The parade has been held for over 70 years, and this year's theme is "Christmas in Toyland."
The parade will start on North St. and end in the municipal parking lot across from Dresden Foodland/beside Rotary Park.
Santa will be stationed at the Larry Tiffin Memorial pavilion, taking wish lists and photos with children, while handing out candy bags.

The final Santa Claus Parade of the season is in Thamesville at 7 p.m.
