UPDATE: Eastbound Hwy. 401 reopens near Rodney

The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 have reopened near Rodney following a single-vehicle crash involving a transport truck.

There's been no word on any injuries, but Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed the highway at Furnival Road just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11.

Police reopened the highway at noon.

Reports say roads in that area are snow-covered and icy as snow squalls blow in from Lake Huron.

The westbound lanes of the 401 were closed near West Lorne overnight for a three-vehicle crash involving tractor-trailers. The highway reopened there just after 7 a.m.
