Base Line closure starts this week

Base Line, also known as CK #15, will be closed to all vehicle traffic between Fraser Road and Prince Albert Road for a few days.

According to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, the closure is necessary for construction work at the Hydro One substation.

The closure is set to start on Thursday and will continue until November 19. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

There will be a few detours around the area, with the primary route being Fraser Road, then Heritage Road, and finally Prince Albert Road.
