Survey has opened for CK employers

The Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board (CKWPB) has opened its annual survey.

The Chatham-Kent (CK) EmployerOne Survey allows employers from across the municipality to share their experiences with the local workforce.

The questionnaire focuses on workforce challenges in 2024/2025, as well as projections for 2025/2026. It gives employers the opportunity to build a stronger local workforce by sharing on-the-ground insights.

“The CKWPB is committed to ongoing research to enhance local labour market planning in the Chatham-Kent region. It is important to hear from employers so we have reliable information that helps guide and develop our workforce to meet local needs,” said Ron Coristine, Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board Chair.

The survey and the organization are supported by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development.

The findings provide the Ministry, the CKWPB, and local stakeholders with insight into the local workforce, as well as guide collective action to address challenges and opportunities.

The CKWPB initiative takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and the results will be available in March of 2026.

You can take the survey by visiting the Employer Survey.
