CK police asking community for valuable input

The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) is asking the community to fill out a survey to gather public feedback on various topics.

The topics include strategic direction, policing priorities, and issues that are important to Chatham-Kent citizens.

Police said the annual survey is an opportunity to share "honest opinions and thoughts" around policing and to provide suggestions and recommendations on how CK police can improve and track their progress.

CKPS said every response makes a difference in how officers protect and serve.

"We strive to create a service that provides proactive and responsive policing, and the survey data is used to inform initiatives and policy decisions while helping to gather insight into how CKPS is accomplishing its strategic priorities and objectives," said police. "We thank everyone for their thoughtful and candid responses."

The survey is anonymous, and feedback will help police assess what is working well, identify challenges, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
