Local hockey players to play for Athletes Fuel Cup

Some of the best young hockey players in Chatham-Kent will be on the ice Tuesday, playing for the Athletes Fuel Cup.

The semi-final is set for 6:30 p.m. at Thames Campus Arena in Chatham.

Team Griffith, led by Seth Griffith of the Bakersfield Condors in the AHL, will face Team Goure, led by Deni Goure of the Chicago Wolves in the AHL.

The winner will face Team Lucarelli, led by Anthony Lucarelli from Long Island University, in the Cup Championship at 7:45 p.m.

The public is invited to watch, and admission is free.
