Alexander's Cookies n' Cream Fudge recalled over unlisted allergen

Health Canada has recalled a popular brand of fudge due to its wheat content.

The ingredient is not listed on the package and could be dangerous for those with celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders.

The 225g package of Alexander's Fudge Cookies n' Cream fudge is being pulled from store shelves after a customer complaint.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is investigating to see if other products need to be recalled.

Consumers are urged not to consume the fudge and return it to the store for a refund.
