Non-alcoholic spirit recalled due to mould

A non-alcoholic beverage sold across the country is being recalled over concerns of mould.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued the notice this week for all four flavours of Ceder’s Distilled Non-Alcoholic Spirits.

The spirit alternative was sold in 500 ml bottles of the classic, crisp, wild, and rose flavours. Prior to the recall it was available through the LCBO and on Amazon.ca.

The CFIA listed the recall as a "non-harmful" quality or spoilage issue. The agency stated that the affected product should not be used, sold, served or distributed.
