UPDATE: Severe thunderstorms warning ends

Environment Canada says the window for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening has passed.

The national weather agency says conditions are no longer favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.

Around 8 p.m. Environment Canada rescinded the severe thunderstorm watch for Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor Essex that was issued mid-afternoon. That was later upgraded to a severe thunderstorm warning for all three regions.
