Crews from two Chatham fire stations were called to a blaze Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 1 p.m., firefighters from Stations #1 and #2 in Chatham were called to the Maple Court Apartments at 85 Pine Street.
As of 2:30 p.m., fire officials confirmed that the flames had been contained, though it did remain an active scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
