Police investigating $100K whiskey theft

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after a tractor-trailer full of whiskey was stolen over Victoria Day weekend.

Police report suspects broke into a fenced-in facility on Devon Drive just before 9 p.m. on May 17, 2025. A semi-tractor trailer loaded with over 1,000 boxes of Crown Royal whiskey products, worth approximately $100,000, was stolen from the facility.

The next day, the trailer was found abandoned on County Road 46. The whiskey was removed from the truck and is still missing.

Investigators are asking residents and business owners in the area to check their surveillance footage for possible evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Target Base Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4350. They can also contact CStoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
