Update: Tanker roll over spills around 20,000 litres of fuel near Tilbury

No injuries were reported after a fuel tanker rolled over on Highway 401 near Tilbury.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Emergency Services responded to the area at around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Around 20,000 litres of fuel reportedly spilled across the westbound lanes and into a nearby ditch.

It took crews over 12 hours to clean up the fuel, allowing the westbound lanes to reopen.

The exact cause of the rollover is still being investigated.
