Assault attempt cause property damage
A 28-year-old Chatham man faces assault and mischief charges after an argument with his significant other.
CK police said that they were called to a Dauw Avenue address in Wallaceburg just after 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Officers learned that the man allegedly threw an object at his partner and missed, causing property damage instead.
The accused was arrested, charged, and released from police custody with a March 10 court date.

Police make multiple warrant arrests
A Blenheim woman has arrested following a fraud investigation.
Officers picked her up just after 3:30 p.m. on Friday at a Talbot Street West address.
The 48-year-old was released from police custody with a March 3 court date.

A 59-year-old Romney Township resident is facing new charges when police caught him out past his court-ordered curfew.
On Saturday, CK police responded to a Richmond Street address in Chatham after getting alerts from an area security camera.
When officers arrived, just after 1:30 a.m., they found the man and learned he was wanted for missing a court date.
When police determined he was breaching his curfew conditions he was held for bail.

A routine traffic stop led to a warrant arrest early Monday morning.
According to police, a vehicle was pulled over at about 4 a.m. on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
As a result of the stop, a 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested by way of warrant. He was released by police with a March 3 court date.
