New pediatrician arrives in Chatham-Kent

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has hired a new pediatrician.

Dr. Harkirat Bhullar officially started his practice earlier this month after working in India from 2009 to 2021.

He previously completed a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Calgary.

“Providing comprehensive pediatric care to families in the community is a privilege, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships while contributing to the health and well-being of children in the region,” Bhullar said in a media release.

Dr. Zeke Milkovic, Acting Chief of Staff for CKHA, explained the organization is excited to add Bhullar to the team.

“He is an experienced, community-oriented physician and will be a great addition to our hospital, making a positive impact on the families in our community,” he added.

Bhullar is accepting patient referrals. Primary Care Providers can fax referral requests to 519-358-1586.
