Break and Enter at Veterinary Clinic

At around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to the Chatham-Kent Veterinary Clinic in Chatham.

When officers arrived they found the front door smashed in.

It's believed nothing was stolen.

Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Pedestrian

At around 8 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Richmond Street in Chatham.

Officers ended up finding a 52-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.

It was determined the man was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle.

He has since been airlifted to a London hospital.

Intoxicated Man

CK police were contacted on Saturday about a family dispute in Blenheim.

When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old man with a dog who appeared to be intoxicated.

He was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and brought back to police headquarters.

After sobering up, the man was released with a Provincial Offence Notice.

The Toronto Blue Jays got by the visiting Chicago Cubs 2-1 Thursday afternoon, to win the three game interleague series. The Detroit Tigers rallied to beat Minnesota 4-3 in other MLB action.
