Police investigating cottage break-in
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they investigate a break-in at a cottage on Erie Shore Drive.
Police said officers were called to the scene at around 1 p.m. Sunday and learned that the break-in had taken place sometime over the past month.
Officers said whoever broke in took off with some items that were inside, but they are still working to determine everything that was stolen.

Two wanted men arrested in Chatham
Chatham-Kent police didn't have to go very far to find two more people who had made the local service's wanted list.
Officers said at around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, they found a 36-year-old Chatham man on King Street in Chatham who was known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.
He was stopped and taken to police headquarters where he was set to be held pending a bail hearing.
In a separate case, officers found a 32-year-old Chatham man who was also known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Police said they found him on Third Street in Chatham near CK police headquarters at around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
That man was also arrested and taken to police headquarters pending a bail hearing.

R.I.D.E program comes up empty
Chatham-Kent police said they didn't find any impaired drivers while they were carrying out a R.I.D.E. program on Lacroix Street in Chatham Monday morning.
The festive R.I.D.E. programs started in mid-November.
