The iconic red Coca-Cola truck will make stops in Southwestern Ontario to spread some holiday cheer and find Canada's kindest community.
"The Holiday Caravan was born from an opportunity to spread optimism and share joy in communities coast-to-coast," said Todd Parsons, CEO of Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited.
This year, the holiday caravan will be even more special than usual as it coincides with the launch of the Canada's Kindest Community Contest.
"By uniting the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan and Canada's Kindest Community Contest, we connect the joy of the holiday season with making a meaningful difference in the communities where we operate," Parsons said. "We believe kindness is contagious, and every kind act, no matter its size, has the potential to make an impact."
The contest asks Canadians to share stories of kindness from their community for a chance to win a $50,000 donation to a non-profit organization near them.
The nominations can be for something you've done yourself, or something someone else has done, to make your community better. Nominations can be made until January 6, 2025, and can be submitted online or at local Holiday Caravan stops or select retailers.
The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan began its tour in Halifax on November 14 and will end in Vancouver on December 22.
The caravan will make a stop at the University of Windsor on Wednesday, December 4 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On Saturday, December 7, from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the caravan will stop in Chatham.
