Liquor license and control act

Chatham-Kent police were called for a wellbeing check in the area of Lisgar Street in Ridgetown Saturday afternoon.

Police found a 39-year-old male, heavily intoxicated on the sidewalk. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to police headquarters.

Stolen vehicle

Police responded to a call for an alleged stolen vehicle Saturday afternoon in the area of St. Clair Street in Chatham.

A resident was shopping and later returned to the parking lot to find their vehicle missing. The investigation is ongoing.

Impaired operation

Police responded to reports of a driver passed out behind the steering wheel of a vehicle Saturday evening.

While holding up traffic in the area of Grande River Line, citizen's were able to shutoff her vehicle and take the keys until officers could arriive.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested and held until she was sober. She was later released on conditions and a future court date.
