Texting argument leads to threats charges
Chatham-Kent police have made an arrest after an argument over a texting app led to some comments that crossed a legal line.
Police said they learned that a man who was arguing with a woman over text messages also left several voicemail messages for her.
Officers said during that exchange between the two people, the man allegedly made several comments that indicated he would harm the woman and another individual.
Police were called to investigate the case on Wednesday and found the man Thursday morning.
He was arrested and charged with four counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm and one count of uttering threats to destroy or damage property.
He was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Man wanted for skipping court turns himself in
A 26-year-old Wallaceburg man was wanted by local police for more than a month has decided to face the music.
Police said a warrant was issued for the man's arrest after he skipped a scheduled court appearance on August 1, breaching a condition of his probation order.
He turned himself in at CK police headquarters shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday and was later released with a future court date in October.

CK police track down man wanted in Sarnia and Woodstock
A 28-year-old Ontario man who was wanted by two different police services in southwestern Ontario was arrested in Chatham on Thursday.
Chatham-Kent police said they found the man while they were investigating some safety concerns on Park Avenue West in Chatham shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
Officers said when they arrived, the man took off running, but they were able to catch up with him after a short foot chase.
Police said the man was wanted on several intimate partner violence-related warrants that were held by police in Sarnia and Woodstock.
He was arrested and later released to Sarnia police custody.
