Charges have been laid following a single-vehicle crash over the long weekend.
First responders were called to the 401 near Orford Road around 2 p.m. Monday when a vehicle went into the centre median on the eastbound side of the highway.
No serious injuries were reported.
Provincial police said the driver was showing signs of impairment and that quantities of opioids and methamphetamine were found in his possession.
A 46-year-old Kanata man was arrested without incident.
He is facing impaired driving and drug trafficking charges and has had his licence suspended for 90 days.
