Man Arrested for Being Intoxicated in Public

Chatham-Kent police say a man faces charges after a disturbance at a local hotel. Police were called to the hotel on Sunday. A man 57-year-old man was heavily intoxicated and causing issues with staff in the hotel office. The man was evicted from his room and was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. The man was arrested under the LLCA and released when sober.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

On Sunday, a Chatham-Kent Police officer was in Wallaceburg dealing with an unrelated matter. A 32-year-old Wallaceburg man entered the area and upon seeing police, fled. The officer recognized the man and knew him to have and outstanding warrant. A short chase ensued, and the man was arrested. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

In the early morning hours of Monday, September 2 a Chatham-Kent police officer was on general patrol in Wallaceburg and located a person known to them. The man was found to have an outstanding warrant for Failure to Attend Court and was arrested. The man remained in custody pending a bail hearing.
