Two individuals from Chatham have been arrested and charged after a shop on a rural property was broken into.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) alleged the 44-year-old man and 38-year-old woman from Chatham broke into the farm shop on Trillium Drive in Southwest Middlesex Friday night.
Police said the motorcycle they were riding broke down and they ran into a cornfield when officers arrived.
The OPP Canine and Emergency Response Team assisted with the investigation.
The pair was charged with break and enter, theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
