CKHA fundraiser ups the ante

Things are heating up this summer, thanks to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.

The CKHAF's latest Igniting Healthcare 50/50 Fundraiser is guaranteed to be at least $100,000.

“We love that this fundraiser gives us a chance to give back to the community that supports our Foundation and hospital year-round, and we can’t wait to present one lucky winner with a cheque for at least $100,000, and hopefully much more,” said Christine Mitchell, CKHAF President & CEO.

Spring's 50/50 draw winner took home $74,690, and just like last time the proceeds from the draw allow the foundation to make crucial investments in life-changing equipment and facility upgrades at both Wallaceburg and Chatham locations.

“Our hospital’s greatest needs and priorities are always changing, so it’s very important for our Foundation to remain responsive and adaptable in our commitment to meeting these needs,” said Mitchell.

Since 2019 the foundation has raised over $1.7 million with half going to winners. Mitchell is confident this year the number will keep growing.

“We have been overwhelmed by the support that our recent Holiday and Spring 50/50s have received, and now that summer is here, we’re so excited to turn up the heat and raise the excitement to a new level," said Mitchell.

Tickets for the 50/50 can be purchased here or in person at the CKHAF office (9 Ursuline Avenue, Chatham)
