Accused murderers, victim identified in William Street homicide in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a third person in connection with a murder investigation in Chatham that started earlier this month.

Police said they arrested 23-year-old Sky-Linn Holden in Windsor on Wednesday and charged her with first-degree murder and committing an indignity to a body in connection after a deceased person was found on June 4 at an address on William Street South in Chatham.

Officers said their investigation identified the deceased as 27-year-old Louise Thomson from Milton, Ontario.

Police initially arrested two Chatham residents in the case -- 44-year-old Jeffrey Davis and 59-year-old David Lozon -- and charged them both with one count each of first-degree murder and committing an indignity to a body.

They were both taken to police headquarters and have made a pair of court appearances so far. Both of them are currently being held in custody.

The third accused person in the case is also being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police said the alleged murder is considered an "isolated incident" and there is not believed to be any threat to public safety.

Investigators are still working to identify all of the persons involved and they are asking anyone with information to contact Sergeant Cole Abbott at 519-436-6600 X80262 or colea@chatham-kent.ca.
