Man arrested for Failing to Attend Court

A man wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in Chatham has been returned to Chatham-Kent police.

CK police said the 38-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent police headquarters on Thursday after he was found by a neighbouring police service.

Man Arrested for Theft

A 33-year-old Chatham man of no fixed address has been arrested and charged with theft.

Chatham-Kent police said the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was found in the area of Murray Street in Chatham on Thursday. He was also wanted for possession of property obtained by crime.

Residential Break and Enter

Chatham-Kent police are looking for someone who broke into a home in Blenheim.

Police said they were contacted by a resident in the area of Catherine Street in Blenheim about a break and enter on Thursday evening.

Police said an unknown person entered the home through a window, took a DVD player, and ran away when confronted by the homeowner.
