Women Arrested for Theft/Warrants
A 37-year-old woman was arrested Friday after Chatham-Kent police responded to a complaint of items being stolen from a vehicle.
Police said the suspect was searched at the scene and was found to have property that had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
According to police, the woman also had an outstanding warrant with the London police service for breach of probation, theft under $5,000, operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, and theft of a motor vehicle.
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man Arrested for Breaching Probation
Police were called to a Chatham address on Friday, for reports of a suspicious person.
CK police said a male suspect was found sleeping in a tent and was suspected of burning garbage and using drugs.
Officers determined that the 37-year-old man was breaching a probation order and arrested him.
After the man was released from police custody he allegedly returned to the site, damaged property, and fled.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
