Wanted man arrested in Chatham
Chatham-Kent police managed to cross two more names off of their wanted list on Tuesday.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old Chatham man in the area of William Street North shortly before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday who was wanted for possession of property obtained by crime.
Police said they found him while they were investigating a separate matter and took the man into custody pending a bail hearing.
In a separate case, officers arrested a 46-year-old Walpole Island woman who was wanted for failing to attend court.
She was arrested in the area of Bluewater Line in Wallaceburg at around 4:30 p.m. and was later released with a future court date.

Police investigating bike theft after break-in
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to crack open a case where a Rocky Mountain Hybrid Men’s bike and some bicycle accessories were stolen.
Police said they learned about the theft after they were called to an address in the area of Adelaide Street North in Chatham Tuesday afternoon.
Officers said it's believed someone broke into a detached garage on the property at around 2:15 a.m. Saturday before taking off with the stolen items.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with tips to contact PC Mungar at alexandriam@chatham-kent.ca.
