Alarm foils b-and-e
Chatham-Kent police believe that a Chatham business' security measures saved it from a break-and-enter.
According to police, officers were called to a business on St. Clair Street on Friday evening and "found everything to be in order."
When staff checked the security video, they said they saw that a man had tried to break into the property, but ran away when the alarm went off.

Traffic stop leads to arrest
A 37-year-old man is facing new charges after police said they caught him driving with a suspended licence.
CK police said they pulled the man over on Queen's Line in Raleigh. He was then charged with breaching a release order and driving while suspended.
The involved vehicle was impounded and the man was held in police custody for bail.

Police arrest pair banned from being together
Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man and a woman found together, when the court ordered them to stay apart.
A 21-year-old Chatham man and 22-year-Chatham woman were located together at a King Street West address, police said.
Both individuals were arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking, as they were on conditions not to be around each other.
Additionally, the man faces a charge of breaching probation and the woman faces a charge of facilitating a breach of probation.
The pair was released by police with July court dates.

Wanted man arrested
Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on a warrant for breaching a conditional sentence order.
According to police, the man was located at an address on Whitebread Line in Chatham.
He was taken into custody and held for bail.
