From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., artists were pumping out the jams from two different stages.

The lineup included:

  • Walkin' 47

  • Dirt Country

  • Big Shiny Toons

  • Milhouse

  • Cellar Door

  • Southwind Buoys

  • DTX: Dave Trinca Xperience

  • Paper Jam

  • North Shore Folk

  • Just Us

  • Cole Pereira

  • Smith and Walker

"This is our third year running the event and we’ve been fortunate to have great community support. Sons of Kent is a great partner to work with, and has been a key contributor to Rise House fundraising events for many years," said Chatham-Kent Councillor Brock McGregor, who has been the organization's board president for eight years.

The organization announced Monday that the all-day show raised $14,000 for people in Haiti.

McGregor was happy to confirm that the total exceeded Rise House's goal of $10,000.

"This is our single largest fundraiser of the year," he said, adding that they can only reach their goal due to community support and the event's corporate sponsors.

"Through the amazing local support we receive, and fundraisers like Rock-a-thon, we are able to continue operating, providing shelter, food, and support for children and women in Haiti," McGregor said.

Rise House International works to help everyone rise out of extreme poverty in Haiti, with a focus on supporting women and children.

Since its inception 12 years ago, the organization has sent 32 youth to school, sheltered and cared for over 30 families at their Safe Haven site, assisted 142 families through community outreach and disaster relief, and helped 11 women become business graduates.
