The Southern Ontario Motor Speedway in Buxton has new owners.
The Marche Family took over ownership from Henry Kroeker in early April.
If you're missing the smell of racing fuel and the sound of race cars flying around the track, you're in luck because the racing season at the speedway kicks off on May 11, 2024.
The speedway has announced 23 races from May 11 until October, including two double header weekends. Test and Tune practice nights are scheduled for May 3, 4,and 10, 2024.
The new owners are also discussing changing the name to South Buxton Speedway and said they will have a final decision later.
The new ownership said the old parking lot has been removed and was replaced with new recycled asphalt. They have also installed drainage throughout the parking lot, the pit area, and the grandstands.
